Breastfeeding Classes & Support Groups
Prenatal Breastfeeding Class and the Breastfeeding Support Group meet at the West Suburban Medical Center Labor & Delivery Classroom on the 6th floor in the hospital. See class descriptions and dates below. Please call (866) 938-7256 to register.
Prenatal Breastfeeding
Prenatal Breastfeeding classes are offered every third Saturday of the month from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Class is taught by Mary Pawlizs, RN, Certified Lactation Consultant. Learn breastfeeding techniques, answers to commonly asked questions, and information on the benefits of breastfeeding for mom and baby. A support person is encouraged to attend. Fee: $30.
Breastfeeding Support Group
Our Breastfeeding Support Group meets on the first Saturday of each month at 12:30 p.m. and is led by Eve Slipiec, RN, IBCLC, Lactation Consultant. Join us with your little one for FREE hands-on practice, advice, support, and education.
