Ozuru O. Ukoha, MD, MSc, FACS, is a cardiothoracic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience treating patients for a variety of cardiovascular and pulmonary health conditions. With extensive experience in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery, he holds special expertise in the treatment of both benign and malignant thoracic disease, particularly for lung and esophageal carcinoma.

Dr. Ukoha believes healthcare is not a privilege; it is a right for everyone, rich or poor, young or old. No one chooses to be sick and he reassures his patients that he is committed to their healthcare needs. He strives to provide the necessary care to all patients without any discrimination and regardless of when the care is required, day or night.

Dr. Ukoha is actively involved in research for several lung cancer studies and has been published multiple times and given dozens of presentations on his areas of medical expertise.

After earning his medical degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Dr. Ukoha completed multiple specialty residencies at some of the most respected hospitals and medical institutions in the country. He completed residencies in general surgery and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the prestigious Yale University School of Medicine where he spent additional time in research and in cardiopulmonary transplantation. Dr. Ukoha also earned his Master of Science degree in Clinical Research from Rush University, Chicago.

Nichole Butler-MooYoung, MD, is a seasoned gynecologist with a passion for education and communication. Dr. Butler has been a strong advocate for advancing the gynecological care of women during their reproductive years and beyond since the early days of her practice. She prides herself in advancing her clinical and surgical skills in parallel with the division of obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Butler is board certified and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Butler completed her undergraduate education at Howard University and received her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago campus. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Rush University Medical Center, graduating with distinction in June of 2000 as a benign obstetrician gynecologist. Since graduation, Dr. Butler has provided care for women primarily as a private practitioner in a smaller group practice.

Dr. Butler’s special interests include fibroids, pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction. She is an aggressive minimally invasive surgeon with strong diagnostic skills. Dr. Butler excels in communicating with a diverse patient population and is focused on helping her patients become breast aware and reinforcing the importance of wellness examinations

Peter Eupierre, MD, is Chairman of the Illinois Delegation at the American Medical Association, has held progressive roles, culminating in Chairman of the Board 2008-2010 of the Illinois State Medical Society. He also has held progressive roles culminating in President 2004 – 2005 at the Chicago Medical Society and the American College of Physicians. Dr. Eupierre served as President of Westlake Hospital from 2005-2007. Since 1984, he has been in private practice. He has served as an instructor at Rush Medical School for more than two decades. A native of Cuba, Dr. Eupierre is bilingual in Spanish as well as English.
