This free wellness program for adults ages 60+ offers educational, social and wellness programs to aid in this goal. Free education programs are offered each month about issues important to you, like Medicare, insurance, retirement and health-related topics.
Exercise is an important part of keeping healthy. That is why we offer free exercise classes, including Building Balance Exercise, Fit for the Fight Exercise, Tai Chi and Lunchtime Yoga.
Monthly support groups help build resources and support as you deal with the curve balls that life throws you.
The program offers free periodic screenings to help determine your risk factors for such health issues as:
- High blood pressure
- Elevated cholesterol
- Colon cancer
As a member, you’ll receive regular notification of these programs and have access to health care professionals, like nurses, dietitians and audiologists to help guide you in maintaining your health.
West Suburban Medical Center offers wheelchair-accessible transportation for patients within designated boundaries who have no other means of transportation to West Suburban and our satellite location for tests, treatments and office appointments. Learn more.
