Family & Internal Medicine

The Dr. A.L. Burdick Family Medicine Center provides whole family medical care, newborn to adult, in one place. Caring for individual family members often helps our medical teams treat all family members better, spotting shared conditions or tendencies. Our care  embraces guidance on the proactive role you play with healthy lifestyles and wellness habits.

The Dr. A.L. Burdick Family Medicine Center is one of the oldest family medicine teaching hospitals in the country. Accredited in 1972 – nearly fifty years ago – it was founded by our own Dr. A. L. Burdick, a visionary in the field of family medicine. Dr. Burdick prepared many family medicine physicians now in practice across the United States. Dozens of his former students came to honor their mentor’s extraordinary career when the Dr. A.L. Burdick Family Medicine Center was dedicated in 2009,.

At the Dr. A.L. Burdick Family Medicine Center, your family will be cared for by doctors who are specifically interested in treating whole families.
