Attending the session in person will give you a chance to meet our team of bariatric specialists and ask questions about our program. After attending the seminar or viewing the online session, you will receive a call from our program coordinator to schedule a visit with the surgical team.

After meeting with one of our surgeons, please contact the Chicago Center for Bariatric Surgery & Medical Weight Loss at West Suburban Medical Center. Our staff will assist you in navigating the next steps and insurance requirements. These steps may include, but are not limited to:

  • Submission of insurance requirements and documentation
  • Consultations with our clinical psychologist, dietitian, bariatric surgeon, and other specialists such as a cardiologist and pulmonologist
  • Attendance at bariatric support group meetings prior to surgery
  • Completion of any additional diagnostic tests
