- Helping visitors find their destinations at the hospital
- Being a compassionate voice on the phone
- Making patients and their families feel welcome and appreciated
- Doing light clerical support, such as filing, mailings and computer work
How to Get Started
To become a volunteer at West Suburban Medical Center the first step is to complete & submit our online Volunteer Application.
Once you have submitted your volunteer application, a volunteer coordinator will contact you to inform you of the next volunteer orientation and opportunities to volunteer at West Suburban Medical Center.
Who Can Volunteer?
Volunteering is open to anyone older than age 16. At West Suburban Medical Center, we look for volunteers who embody the spirit of our staff — bright, energetic and outgoing.
What Can I Expect When I Volunteer?
As a volunteer, you’ll be informed of opportunities throughout the hospital. You’ll learn about what to wear and other important information at your volunteer orientation.
