At West Suburban Medical Center
Oak Park, Ill. June 1, 2018 – Cathy Yen, Executive Director of the Oak Park River Forest Chamber of Commerce, has joined the West Suburban Medical Center Governing Board.
Ms. Yen’s fellow board members include Representative La Shawn Ford, Ade Onayemi, Ken Blair, MD, Makis Limperis, MD, Fredrick Tiesenga, MD and Joseph Ottolino, CEO of West Suburban Medical Center.
“Cathy is very knowledgeable about Oak Park both as a resident and as a business professional and brings a unique vision and level of expertise to the Board,” says Mr. Ottolino. “She is a very welcome addition and we look forward to collaborating with her.”
Ms. Yen has lived in Oak Park for more than 20 years. With previous careers in large corporate finance, budgeting and strategy, she brings a broad perspective to local business issues.

Ms. Yen holds degrees from the University of Chicago (MBA), UC Berkeley (MA) and Princeton (AB). Ms. Yen is active in the Rotary Club of Oak Park – River Forest, where she will take the helm as the one hundredth president of the organization in July of this year.
