Barbara Martin, BSN, MBA, FACHE
Chief Executive Officer
Barbara Martin, BSN, MBA, FACHE, serves as the Chief Executive Officer for West Suburban Medical Center and the River Forest Medical Campus. She is a seasoned executive who brings more than 25 years of experience in healthcare administration and nursing leadership.
Ms. Martin’s extensive experience includes roles as a system chief executive officer, chief operations officer, vice president for hospital operations and ambulatory services, chief nurse executive, health system vice president, and physician practice executive. She has strategically led both not-for-profit and for-profit hospitals through various growth and transformational efforts including refining service lines, streamlining operations, and improving financial performance. Ms. Martin also has a strong nursing and clinical background which further enhances the value she brings to West Suburban Medical Center.
Prior to joining West Suburban Medical Center, Ms. Martin was the President and CEO of Vista Health System for 14 years as well as the President of BJDM Healthcare Consulting where she led a variety of specialty initiatives to facilitate strong operations and leadership development. She also held leadership positions at Provena Health, St. Margaret and Mercy Health Centers, and Ingalls Memorial Hospital.
Ms. Martin has served on the board of directors for the Illinois Health and Hospital Association and is the recipient of multiple awards and recognitions, including being named in Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the Top CEOs in Healthcare and as one of the Top Female Healthcare CEOs in the Country. Barb earned an Alumni Achievement Award from her alma mater, Lewis University, and has received multiple other awards for community outreach, healthcare administration, and nursing leadership.

Andrew McDonald, MBA, joined the Chicago Region in 2019 with almost 10 years of experience in finance and health care finance. With a strong focus on application of analytics, problem solving, and strategy, his areas of expertise include financial analysis and reporting, budget and cost analysis, and cost accounting, and data management, among other core competencies. Mr. McDonald works closely with CEOs Irena Dumanis and Barbara Martin in the financial oversight of Weiss Memorial Hospital and West Suburban Medical Center.
Mr. McDonald earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Western Governors University and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from Robert Morris University.

Chief Human Resources Officer
Cari Netolicky serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Pipeline Chicago which includes West Suburban Medical Center and Weiss Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining the Chicago Region, Ms. Netolicky most recently served as CHRO/Director of Human Resources at Compass Health Center in Northbrook. A seasoned HR professional, her wealth of experience includes VP, HR at Community First Medical Center in Chicago, senior manager, HR at W.W. Grainger in Lake Forest, and escalating responsibility culminating in director, HR at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston.
A graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Human Resources Management, Ms. Netolicky is a certified diversity and inclusion facilitator from Kaleidoscope Group. She is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management.
