West Suburban Medical Center and Westlake Hospital Announce New Chief Operating Officers

Chicago, IL. – Joseph Ottolino, 42, has been named Chief Operating Officer for West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill. Michael Ditoro, 35, has been named Chief Operating Officer for Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill. Both appointments are effective June 23, 2014.

With nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare, Joseph Ottolino brings a solid background of clinical experience, as well as a record of administrative leadership in areas of growth and strategy. Ottolino comes most recently from MacNeal Hospital, where he has served as an integral part of the MacNeal leadership team in his role as Vice President of Ancillary Services for the past several years.

Michael Ditoro has more than 10 years of healthcare experience, in both clinical and administrative roles. He has been in his current role as Vice President of Pharmacy Services for the Tenet Healthcare – Chicago Market for the past several years.

Celebrating its 100-year anniversary in 2014, West Suburban Medical Center is a 233-bed teaching hospital located in Oak Park that is accredited by The Joint Commission. Westlake Hospital is a 225-bed hospital located in Melrose Park that is accredited by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program.
