Melanie Jessen, DO, FACOFP

Dr. Jessen received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign. She attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in Family Practice with the Chicago Osteopathic Hospital.
Dr. Jessen is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is board certified by the American Osteopathic Association. Dr. Jessen precepts and maintains a patient panel at the Family Medicine Center. She is Faculty Chair of the Residency's Conference Committee.
Dr. Jessen is also the physician for Oak Leyden Developmental Services, the community based organization for patients with developmental disabilities. She was the recipient of their Humanitarian Award in 2002. In March 2008, Dr. Jessen was awarded Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
